Day Hospitals
What is a Day Hospital?
It is a public health facility for adolescents (12 -17 years old) who face critical situations and for their families. The DH offers specialized and intensive preventive, diagnostic, and assistance interventions.
The hospital aims to offer a clinical space, with more intensive therapeutic activities than in outpatient services, through partial hospitalization, i.e. only during the day. This allows intensive treatment without separating the patients from their family, social and educational environment.
