What is a DH?
It is a public healthcare facility that offers specialized and intensive preventive, diagnostic and healthcare treatment for young people in crisis situations, aged between 12 and 17, and their families.
The aim of the Day Hospital is to offer patients a clinical space with therapeutic activities that are more intensive than those found in outpatient services. The patients are partially hospitalized, meaning they do not stay overnight. It provides intensive treatment without cutting patients off from their family, social and educational environments.
