Desde 2012 la aportaci\u00f3n se destina al proyecto \u201cUna red sanitaria al alance de todos\u201d que tiene por objetivo proporcionar y mejorar el acceso a los servicios de atenci\u00f3n m\u00e9dica de calidad a ni\u00f1os y ni\u00f1as de entre 0 y 15 a\u00f1os en el Hospital Pediatrico de Bathalapalli.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section><br \/>\n\n<style type=\"text\/css\" data-created_by=\"avia_inline_auto\" id=\"style-css-av-av_textblock-13f75dc550b6d9af610e121a674f84fc\">\n#top .av_textblock_section.av-av_textblock-13f75dc550b6d9af610e121a674f84fc .avia_textblock{\ncolor:#919191;\n}\n<\/style>\n<section  class='av_textblock_section av-av_textblock-13f75dc550b6d9af610e121a674f84fc '   itemscope=\"itemscope\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/CreativeWork\" ><div class='avia_textblock av_inherit_color'  itemprop=\"text\" ><p><strong>LA SITUACI\u00d3N DE LA SALUD DE LA POBLACI\u00d3N INFANTIL EN LA INDIA<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Las enfermedades de transmisi\u00f3n e infecciosas constituyen la principal causa de muerte prematura en la India. Afectan cada a\u00f1o a m\u00e1s de 2,5 millones de ni\u00f1os y ni\u00f1as menores de cinco a\u00f1os y a un n\u00famero similar de j\u00f3venes hasta los 15 a\u00f1os. Otro factor importante en la mortalidad infantil \u2013alrededor del 50%- es la desnutrici\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Por otro lado, el estado de salud de los m\u00e1s peque\u00f1os depende mayoritariamente de la situaci\u00f3n econ\u00f3mica de sus padres que se encuentran en unas graves condiciones de pobreza y muchas veces no pueden llevarlos a un centro de salud.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Las muertes de causas f\u00e1cilmente previsibles y tratables muestran dos posibles factores o la combinaci\u00f3n de ambos: la dificultad de acceder a servicios de salud o la ineficacia de los mismos.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La Fundaci\u00f3n Vicente Ferrer (FVF) trabaja desde 1972 en un amplio programa sanitario. Adem\u00e1s de contribuir a resolver las dificultades de acceso a la salud derivadas de la vida en la India rural, la fundaci\u00f3n colabora con algunas de las acciones que el gobierno indio desarrolla en el estado de Andhra Pradesh.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">En la actualidad, la organizaci\u00f3n cuenta con una red hospitalaria \u2013un total de 592 camas- que incluye tres hospitales generales o de referencia situados en Bathalapalli, Kalyandurg y Kanekal, adem\u00e1s de un hospital pedi\u00e1trico y un centro especializado en el tratamiento de pacientes afectados por enfermedades infecciosas, as\u00ed como un centro de planificaci\u00f3n familiar en Anantapur. Para cubrir las zonas m\u00e1s remotas, la FVF cuenta con un total de 16 cl\u00ednicas rurales.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El hospital pedi\u00e1trico, situado en el pueblo de Bathalapalli, es uno de los principales centros disponibles para dar cobertura a la poblaci\u00f3n infantil de la regi\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section><br \/>\n\n<style type=\"text\/css\" data-created_by=\"avia_inline_auto\" id=\"style-css-av-av_textblock-13f75dc550b6d9af610e121a674f84fc\">\n#top .av_textblock_section.av-av_textblock-13f75dc550b6d9af610e121a674f84fc PEDIATRICO DE BATHALAPALLI<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Equipo m\u00e9dico dirigido por un pediatra especialista.<\/p>\n<ol style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>Dispone de tres salas para la hospitalizaci\u00f3n con 75 camas.<\/li>\n<li>Cinco salas para la atenci\u00f3n ambulatoria, donde se realizan consultas, vacunaciones, etc.<\/li>\n<li>An\u00e1lisis cl\u00ednicos y estudios para permitir el diagn\u00f3stico y el tratamiento adecuado.<\/li>\n<li>Unidades de Cuidados Intensivos (UCI) pedi\u00e1trica y neonatal.<\/li>\n<li>Servicio de urgencias pedi\u00e1tricas que funciona 24 horas al d\u00eda los 7 d\u00edas de la semana.<\/li>\n<li>Atenci\u00f3n y tratamiento a las enfermedades infantiles, como bronquitis, gastroenteritis, neumon\u00eda\u2026<\/li>\n<li>Atenci\u00f3n, tratamiento y seguimiento de enfermedades agudas o cr\u00f3nicas como talasemia, epilepsia, diabetes juvenil y enfermedades card\u00edacas.<\/li>\n<li>Proporciona nutrici\u00f3n a todos los pacientes hospitalizados y tambi\u00e9n a las madres, as\u00ed como en los f\u00e1rmacos prescritos para el tratamiento de los
